‘Salvage’ typically has a negative connotation when we are referring to physical possessions. It conjures images of used goods and rubbish and even in its positive connotation when we use it to say we want to ‘salvage’ something we typically only mean to scrape by. Reclaim rejects this understanding with casework on the fantastic work with reclaimed pieces of furniture by brilliant independent interior designers.

Whether using antiques or re-using discarded pieces of furniture this magazine is an insightful look into the creativity we can all have if we mix the old and the new. Used or vintage pieces are no obstacle to design success.
