We love Stuff here at Newsstand, and not simply because of the delightfully vague yet unarguably descriptive name – if we had to describe everything covered in this magazine without knowing it’s name we would say ‘oh, you know, a lot of stuff’.
Stuff is full of the kinds of things (it’s going to be hard trying to avoid overusing the word stuff here) that you don’t actually need, but undeniably want. It’s probably a bit of a magazine for the lads, aimed at who want to know, for example, what the best Pizza cutting device on the market is (genuinely in the June 2012 issue) and what tech is best to liven up a game of golf.
Life would be incredibly boring if it wasn’t full of wonderfully geeky gadgets to buy, the kinds of things that don’t actually make anything faster or easier but feel as though they should. And if they are stunningly well designed, all the better. That may sound incredibly materialistic but… wait, it is actually incredibly materialistic. Oh well, we shall be happy with who we are, flick through the pages of Stuff magazine and drool (money back if your magazine is coated in saliva!) over the stunning meetings of design and technology to be found within.
