An exceptionally high quality and wonderfully laidback magazine devoted to surfing and surf culture, Carve is a true surfing magazine for those in the UK.

This gorgeously designed and produced – and impressively packed full of content – publication has an authentic feel to it – it is written by surfers, for surfers. Each issue includes an array of well written and often entertaining features examining different aspects of surfing in the UK as well as surf culture in general. It also offers details of the best gear and kit, such as board shorts, fins and boards for both men and women, and some absolutely stunning photography throughout.

Buy a single copy of CARVE or a subscription of your desired length, delivered worldwide. Current issues sent same day up to 3pm! All magazines sent by 1st Class Mail UK & by Airmail worldwide (bar UK over 750g which may go 2nd Class).

Surf magazine such as Carve always manage to be incredibly evocative of the surf culture, and Carve is perhaps the best example of this. You can almost feel the sun, surf and sand in every issue, with the laidback and entertaining writing and fantastic photography bringing the magazine to life. If you have a deep love for surfing – and it is something that you love, there are very rarely any people who surf only casually simply because it is so addictive – then you will feel right at home with a copy of Carve.

There is one thing we’ve never quite ‘got’ about surfers. Now, we love the culture, the music, the actual surfing itself, but how do all surfers have such cool hair? Seriously, they must use an absolute ton of hair gel and styling products, they must buy them in by the bucketful, because every time we have gone anywhere near the sea we have ended up with terrible looking hair. It may be a small, arguably completely unimportant thing, but we just can’t quite figure it out. You will never see a surfer with unstylish hair, just as you will never see a middle-aged, rather overweight surfer who isn’t making a complete fool of himself. Until we figure out what their secret is, we’re going to keep a safe distance away from surfers – there’s something suspicious going on there. NB
