The Rialto is a celebrated literary magazine which we are told from the accompanying website has won prestigious awards. The website with the same name is an interesting addition to the magazine and we would recommend having a look at it for extra poems and an interesting blog which often discusses the role of poetry in today’s society as well as up coming must-see events.
This magazine is essential reading for those with a soft spot for poetry. The poems often contain random themes and will be on whatever topic the poet felt like exploring. The editor’s letter is always witty and interesting; he will show the readers why he chose the poems as well as the stories behind them that interested him. There are also a number of features within the magazine which discusses other poet’s work or provides some interesting commentary on an important topic in the literary world.
If you are an aspiring poet, the Rialto magazine will inspire your work and give you ideas for future topics, the features will make you think more deeply about poetry and its impact as well as provide you with more in-depth poetry knowledge. If you get a subscription to the Rialto magazine, we don’t think that you will be disappointed. It is interesting and insightful and is definitely something which is a bit different from other magazines in its genre.
