We all know how respectable a name National Geographic is – you don’t keep a magazine running for one hundred and twenty years without doing a few things right – and that yellow border, though simple in appearance, means that you know you can trust and rely on the content with in to be factual and well-researched.
It’s amazing quite how much a simple design can bring about an instant association with quality good or bad. The very colour and font used on the wrapping for Cadbury’s chocolate is so recognisable in this country that you instantly know what you’re getting.
