We are rather impressed by Le Figaro Magazine here at Newsstand. Not only does it feature the latest important news, it also covers in impressive depth all the politics, economics and culture that you could wish for, and is written in an engaging yet impressively serious manner.

There’s probably enough in Le Figaro magazine to keep you avidly reading and occupied until the next issue arrives – you could be reading up on the latest from the cinemas, getting useful advice on what to see, and then occupying your mind with a quick round of Sudoku or a teasingly difficult crossword. Flip back a few pages and all of a sudden you could be reading a fascinating feature on the construction, by hand, of a massive wooden ship. It really is that varied in its content.

One thing we absolutely loved about Le Figaro – and we think you will love too – is the section near the front which simply features three or four of the most stunning photos taken that week, alongside a short description contextualising the pic. There’s nothing quite like a full double page spread of one photo to really convey the astonishing qualities it contains, and Le Figaro does this perfectly. NB
