Frankie magazine is a women’s lifestyle, fashion and culture magazine which is produced in Australia. This magazine stands out due to its very high production values; the paper, prints and images are all produced to a very high quality which means that Frankie looks and feels amazing.

Frankie features great celebrity interviews and culture features on the best up-and-coming creative people in loads of different industries, such as interior designers, photographers and artists.

The magazine likes to put the focus on hard working, creative individuals who work hard and play hard. The interviews are often short and to the point with excellent intelligent questions which try to get to the very heart of each person interviewed. Frankie likes to print the best life stories and interesting true encounters which have shaped the lives of the great creative people in Hollywood as well as all over the world. Frankie prefers to interview the less well known celebrities as apposed to those who are huge megastars. It’s all about celebrating the unsung talents of creative people who are largely under appreciated.

There are also quite kooky features with titles such as ‘how to reuse all the random stuff laying around the place’ and ‘pretty cards for all your meeting and greeting needs’. As you can see its hard to really pin down exactly what Frankie is all about because all the features are so varied and individual.

We particularly liked an article called ‘Know your retro’ in one issue of Frankie, which was a feature dedicated to ‘second hand chair appreciation’. We like the kooky and individual style of Frankie and we think readers will like this magazine’s personal approach to the culture and fashion market. This magazine would be ideal for those readers who are bored of all the same old magazines in their local newsagent and they want something a little more interesting and unique.
