The magazine has a narrow focus in the sense that it is simply only about off road vehicles. No other type of vehicle is mentioned in the magazine which means that it covers a very niche area. However we think that fans of the four wheels and off road scene will be catered for very well indeed. For those of you looking for more of a general overview of motoring then this magazine may not be for you! (Never fear however, as we have many more varieties of different motoring magazines which are available here at Newsstand!)
The technical aspect of the magazine is very helpful. There are very useful buyer guides and help with parts that would be useful whether you are a veteran owner or a new prospective buyer. In fact one of the good things about the magazine is that it does not discriminate between experienced or new owners. There is also a very amusing regular section which shows pictures of trucks tipped over or stuck in the mud after an accidental over zealous manoeuvre by its owner. If you enjoy sniggering at other people's silly mistakes then this feature will amuse you!
The magazine definitely has a ‘do it yourself’ attitude. The magazine seems to take the view that the more well informed the reader is then the better choices they will make when they want to upgrade or improve their off road truck. It also shows you how to maintain your vehicle which is useful for readers looking to save some pennies and keep their ride in tip top condition.
