The design and art direction for Cloakroom was overseen by B.A.M, the London-based studio of David McKendrick and Lee Belcher. They commissioned French designer Alaric Garnier to create a bespoke uppercase typeface for the magazine that is instantly recognisable.
With written stories covering contemporary design and fashion, Cloakroom highlights the tensions between good taste and bad, and interrogates the spaciousness and sense of play that might sit somewhere in-between.
