When you get something from Marvel Comics, you know you are getting the best. Essential XMen is no X-ception to this rule.
Each issue of this great comic features the ongoing adventures of the mutants that teamed up to form the X-Men under Professor Xavier – Cyclops, Wolverine, Rogue, Storm, Nightcrawler and so on. There are normally two action-packed and gripping stories in each issue, meaning you get to experience the X-citement not once but twice, and each features some of the most X-quisite artwork that you could ever hope to see. Okay, enough of the X-puns. Suffice to say that this is a great comic book featuring one of the most famous superhero teams that doesn’t disappoint.
Buy a single copy of ESSENTIAL X-MEN or a subscription of your desired length, delivered worldwide. Current issues sent same day up to 3pm! All magazines sent by 1st Class Mail UK & by Airmail worldwide (bar UK over 750g and children's magazines with large free gifts which may go 2nd Class).

Or perhaps there would be an Ant-man, with all the powers of an… wait you mean that there is already an Ant-Man?!
We can’t help but think that the man behind the team, the excellently named Professor Xavier (or ‘X’ for short) was a little bit of an egotist. Not simply content with bringing together a wonderful band of superheroes to help protect the mutant race from the bigoted actions of humanity, he names the team after himself and makes them wear outfits with his initial stamped all over them. Even the belt buckles of the muscle-bound mutants have a prominent X on them.
If we ever formed a superhero team you can be pretty sure it wouldn’t be the N(ewsstand)-Men. Mind you, the X-Men does work quite well as a name, good thing they didn’t decide to go with the first initial of Charles Xavier or they would have been the… NB
