This magazine is nicely produced which we think the creative reader will enjoy. It is entirely dedicated to ceramics and all the processes that are involved with it. The work it covers can be anything from giant sculptures to small pots and plates. The magazine looks at the broad spectrum which the craft encompasses and doesn’t just focus on one aspect of making ceramics. From Tessa Eastman who makes fantasy ceramic cakes to Fenella Elms who produces more abstract work which often contains illusions, we think there will be something in here to interest any budding potter or indeed any readers who are simply interesting in art.
Ceramic Review will also often take an interesting look at the history of ceramics and making pottery. The articles will look at the growing trend for the art form through-out history and why the art gained more and more popularity. The publication will also look at the relation of ceramics to other forms of art such as painting and illustrations which can often co-exist together, such as the trend for creating painted ceramic vases. These sections will help you to ponder the craft on another level and hopefully increase your understanding.
Ceramic Review Magazine is in the Other Crafts category and is just one of over 3,000 magazines now available at Newsstand, to browse recent front covers of Ceramic Review Magazine, please click here.
