The workshops and tutorials contained in the magazine are very cleverly laid out in a way which the reader will find very easy to understand. The tutorials clearly show the methods of new techniques using a step by step guide. We think that the reader would easily be able to recreate the work shown in the magazine because the tutorials are not overly complicated. (We wouldn’t mind having a go ourselves!) Although the magazine covers relatively advanced topics on photo shopping we still think that less experienced readers would find this magazine useful. This is simply because the articles are made reasonably easy to understand. Although less experienced readers may find some of the jargon confusing, the other tutorials and interviews will provide enough inspiration that will help any beginner to find encouragement and ultimately improve.
This particular magazine has quite a serious tone. The writers are very direct when handling the content and it is written in a very straight talking way. The magazine is not trying to be entertaining or over the top instead it relies on quality expert knowledge. By having this approach we think that the content basically sells itself. The subject matter of the magazine is very specific which means that it goes into a huge amount of detail on a great number of topics. Frankly here at Newsstand we were amazed at how much there is to know in the world of photo shopping! The magazine really is filled to the brim with facts and information
