3D artist magazine is superbly presented with stunning pictures of models and animation. Fans of the 3D scene will certainly appreciate the care and attention that the editor has clearly put into making the magazine a beautiful example of the animation industry. We were blown away by some of the images. We are certain that fans on 3D animation would feel inspired by the work in the magazine.
The magazine is very enthusiastic about helping up and coming students in the competitive world of 3D artists. The DVD given with each issue will contain up to 4 hours worth of new and fascinating material. The magazine shares knowledge that we think an artist of any level would appreciate. The DVD would definitely help many artists to improve their skills in whatever stage they are working.
There is also a large studio section which gives step by step advice on how to create new designs. It is very clearly written and laid out. Readers will be able to follow the examples with ease. There is also an interesting ‘I made this’ section which allows other 3D artists to showcase their work. The artists are able to describe how they created sections and which software worked best for them. They are also given the opportunity to describe what inspired them to create their masterpiece. The work shown in the magazines is very creative. We here at Newsstand were very impressed with the skill of the artists! We would definitely recommend that new artist send in their work for a chance to showcase their talents.
