One of the world’s leading publications for nearly ninety years, this is a magazine that needs no introduction (but apparently it’s my job to give it one) – Readers Digest!
This lovely publication is brimming with fascinating stories, interesting news, in-depth examinations of current affairs, and pretty much everything else under the sun. You’ll find health, medicine, beauty, consumer advice, food, drink, money, motoring, digital life, gardening, wildlife, travel, books, puzzles and features on important current topics. All of this is wrapped up in a small size publication, making it perfect to take with you on a bus or train journey, or any other situation where you need to occupy some spare time. A very good thing in a small package.

Readers Digest, that long running, well established and world renowned publication, is flying the flag for the little magazines of the world. There are tons of publications out there that have recently been released that are simply huge in size and weight. It seems near impossible nowadays to find a fashion mag that doesn’t require you to lift with your knees, not your back. Sure, a large publication does result in a nice ability to fit a lot of content onto a single page, but half the time the creators are left with more space than they know what to do with.
Readers Digest packs a huge amount into its comparatively tiny size. Everything that we listed in the description above – and we listed a huge amount of things – is present, and all of it is entertainingly and well written.
And you know what? You could even slip a copy of the Digest into the pocket of your jacket, slip it into your bag or find space for it in a trouser pocket. No need to look like a loon lugging about a massive, unwieldy magazine – Readers Digest is portable, practical, useful and, if you will excuse the pun, will give you plenty of food for thought to chew over. NB
Readers Digest Magazine is in the Older Women's category and is just one of over 3,000 magazines now available at Newsstand, to browse recent front covers of Readers Digest Magazine, please click here.
