We have been waiting with baited breath to get our hands on this magazine! We gave a little ‘whoop’ when it finally arrived! We are pleased to report that it’s as impressive as we’d anticipated. Not only for its gigantic size, its probably one of the biggest and heaviest magazines we sell here at Newsstand. It also has stunning high fashion images and fascinating features on all the latest need to know brands. Ponystep has a great high quality production which gives it a high class finish which we think fashionable and stylish readers will appreciate.
The one downside to the magazine is that it is extremely heavy, sadly the creators don’t as of yet release Ponystep in a small handbag size. If you wanted to carry Ponystep around with you it could prove a bit of an extra burden. Although the silver lining could be that you’ll get amazingly strong biceps from hauling it around everywhere. Who needs the gym when you’ve got Ponystep!
It’s a pretty unique publication which we adore, there are so many magazines around at the moment, if you don’t believe us, come to our shop and see them with your own eyes! In order to make yourself known in the very competitive magazine market you HAVE to stand out. Ponystep stands out for all the right reasons. If you are bored of other ‘cool for the sake of it’ publications and need something a little more real. Ponystep is the answer to your magazine prayers! This magazine is both stylish and informative and it ticks all our boxes for a great fashion and lifestyle publication.
ISSUE 3 speil from the publishers goes as follows: Timed (almost) to chime with the Olympics, or at least, to chime with the spirt thereof, Ponystep Issue 3 hits the shelves with a Best Of British cover story. Entitled 'Britain's Got Talent' the covers are graced by the incredible Georgia May Jagger, Jourdan Dunn, Joan Collins, Daphne Guinness and our first male coverstar Amir Khan, shot by the very British Miles Aldridge.
As always, the issue is a celebration of colour and pop culture and issue 3 is stronger than ever. In an exclusive interview, Tim Blanks talks life, death and 70's excess with Diane von Furstenberg; Ellen von Unwerth celebrates 10 years of London's george and Dragon with a 47 page portfolio, suitably accompanied by a 'retrospective' by Paul Flynn; the inimitable Tina Knowles takes Beyonce, Destiny's Child and gay icons, while TOWIE's Gemma Collins divulges what its really like to star in the UK's premier reality show.
As if that wasn't enough, Jamie Morgan captures One Direction in a series of beautiful black and white portraits, and Martin Parr heads to the seaside with Cara Delavigne. Princess Julia discusses mashed potato with 'Gossip' and Frieze curator Sarah McCrory gets nown to the nitty gritty with acclaimed artist Carsten Holler. All this and more in over 300 glorious glossy pages.
