In Snap is a brief brochure featuring photos from fashion week all over the world. It has pictures from New York, Milan, Hong Kong and Paris: all the fashion capitals of the world. With brief comments on every outfit, and a section on accessories, this is a lovely little catalogue of the outfits and looks that went down well during fashion week, as well as the crazier examples of fashion gone mad!

In Snap is a strange little magazine. Owned by In Style Fashion Co. (see In Style: a women’s fashion magazine available to buy in several languages from Newsstand) but published in Taiwan, In Snap is a slim brochure composed of 95% pictures, with a half sentence non sequitur accompanying every picture. These bitesize annotations are written in Mandarin Chinese and English, and the English sounds like google may have been its translator. When I was at school 60% of us were from East Asia, with many having Chinese, Japanese or Mandarin as their first language. Back then, we called it chengrish. Some brilliant phrases surfaced in the end of year yearbook – the juice is worth to squeeze! You crazy woman, your skin, you bin! In Snap magazine reads rather like our yearbook. Lovely pictures of some beautiful young ladies, some more eccentrically dressed than others, confusedly captioned. A gem.
