We probably should have used the word Icon above at some point, as Port is that kind of magazine. It's a new magazine at the time of writing and so it's hard to give a full appraisal, but its full of men you probably should want to be like...
There is plenty of style and some quality photography and is best likened to Monocle magazine if anything - perhaps less business and slightly more fashion. Port also ventures into the design arena - starting with watches and lamps, and before you know it you are engrossed in the latest furniture and window dressing designs.
Still, the USP here is almost definitely the contributors. Where other magazines interview the icons, Port magazine also gets them to do their own write ups. Nice touch and something that sets it apart from other magazines and as a result it's more than welcome at Newsstand and we think you'll like it.
