If you aren’t that familiar with the teen American celebrity scene then some of the faces in the magazine may leave you feeling a little bit too old for this. We don’t consider ourselves hugely informed on the latest goings on in the teen scene in Hollywood so this magazine was a bit of an education for us! With features on ‘crush’ and dating advice and fashion and beauty essentials, this magazine is ideal for the teens out there who love to be girly and get pampered at every opportunity.
What we liked about Popstar magazine is that it reminds all the readers that these celebs are real people too. It can be easy to think that these pop stars are hugely successful and completely confident all the time. This is not the case readers, these stars have insecurities like the rest of us, the magazine likes to print articles discussing problems which these celebs have overcome and the love traumas which have shaped their lives ultimately for the better.
Popstar magazine basically makes the readers fell better about themselves because they can find their own role models and idols from these successful teen stars. The celebrities featured in the magazine are hard working and dedicated individuals who are great role models for young teen girls. Popstars promotes a positive body image and a strong empowerment message, which is pretty essential for teens needing a confidence boost in today’s image obsessed culture.
