O: The Oprah Magazine, sometimes simply abbreviated to O, is a monthly magazine founded by Oprah Winfrey back in 2000. It's very well made, perfect bound and eminently "bookcaseable".
We think around 3 million copies are sold worldwide and there is a South African version also published (sadly not available yet at Newsstand). But remember folks, because it's popular, that doesn't make it good! Another fact about this popular American magazine is that only one person has ever appeared on the front cover...Mrs Winfrey. We'll let you make up your own mind about how healthy that is - but to be fair it isa talking point.
Having said that, Oprah Magazine subscriptions are flying off the shelves to such an extent we think it must have a lot of content appreciated by our UK magazine and world magazine lovers. As an aside, Newsstand would quite like to see an election style debate-slash-mudfight between Oprah Winfrey, Donna Hay and Martha Stewart concerning who has the nicest curtains and most impressive cupcakes.
