The perfect magazine for those who enjoy paddle based watersports, Paddle World takes a good look at the world of canoeing and kayaking. And, if you flip it over, you’ll find a second magazine dedicated to stand-up surfboard paddling (note: they’ve been doing this for the last couple of issues, they may spin off Stand Up Paddle World at some point).
Whether from the front of the mag or the back, you’ll find revealing interviews with important names from the paddle world, some stunning destinations to explore, paddle news from around the world, equipment reviews – such as paddles and canoes – and useful tips about technique, making this essential reading for any lover of paddle watersports.

This confused us for a second. Only a second mind you, we’re quick of the mark when it comes to anything magazine based – if we were to ever go on Mastermind our chosen category would be ‘the magazine industry’, and we reckon we’d do pretty well. Ask us about something non-magazine related, however, and our confidence falls apart.
Anyway, this confused us for the simple reason that we weren’t sure whether Paddle World or Stand Up Paddle World was the father magazine of the pair. Well, a quick internet search revealed to us that Paddle World has been going for a few years, and in the last 3 issues – Vol. 6, 7 and 8 – have been incorporating Stand Up Paddle World as a flip magazine. What do we mean by that? To access this content you simply flip the magazine over so the front becomes the back.
This format is something that seems to be catching on across the magazine world – we stock a number of publications that include this nifty little trick, and we think it is a fairly good way give readers value for money and explore the possibilities offered by a new magazine without the risks involved.
