More on Boat Fishing Magazine

There is nothing quite like the judder of the fishing rod when the big one bites, by all accounts. Like a golf drive that thunders "straight down the middle" (by all accounts), catching a fish is what keeps the angler coming back for more - nevermind that there maybe 20 hours of sitting and waiting in between.

Boat fishing has to be a little different, out on the waves, plenty to do in terms of preparation and probably self preservation as well, depending on the weather. It's probably not ion the same league as the relaxed bankside angler with his copy of Fishing monthly tucked under his arm.

As magazines go, this one is certainly very standard. It's not huge, or too slim and the photography is nice and varied. It does excel in the amount of written content which is higher than most magazines, we would say. Now that is a good thing if you're on a riverbank, perhaps?

Boat Fishing monthly has plenty of ideas on where to go around the British Isles to catch that winter lunker of a cod, plus you'll get ideas of sat navs for fishermen and which outboard motor should go on your christmas list, and even how to avoid getting it stolen again.

Boat Fishing Magazine is in the Sea Fishing category and is just one of over 3,000 magazines now available at Newsstand, to browse recent front covers of Boat Fishing Magazine, please click here.
