A great music-lovers mag devoted to bringing back classic rock – though they might well say it never left –
Fireworks magazine describes itself as the ‘Melodic Rock magazine’ and covers its subject in style.
This bi-monthly mag takes a good hard look at the world of rock both old and new. Each issue contains a huge amount of interviews with up-and-coming and well established bands, alongside features on those they don’t interview!
Fireworks has a comprehensive reviews section, offering unbiased opinions on all the latest releases as well as classic re-issues, coverage of the live music scene and more often than not includes a free CD of great music.

Fireworks! The leading magazine covering fireworks of all shapes and sizes – Catherine wheels, rockets, those ones that look a little like golden willow trees, you know what I’m talking about...
br> Wait a minute. Well, that’s a slightly misleading title. Never mind, let’s try it again.
Fireworks! The leading magazine covering classic melodic rock in all its guises. Now, we love a good bit of rock here at Newsstand – every time we look at the charts and see those at the top, and in fact all from 1-100, we weep a little inside. We remember the days of good old fashioned rock music, stuff that was actually played on guitars. It was all about protesting for rebellion, freedom, and looking damn sexy whilst doing so.
Well, time passes and suddenly the music of rebellion is the music from the youth of those aged 35+, and it doesn’t seem quite as edgy to the youth of today. Despite that, we, and Fireworks magazine, clearly believe that there is going to be a rock revival, and if you look closely enough you might find out that it actually had never left. All around the country there are bands playing awesome live rock, you just actually have to get up, go out and find them. Make the effort, and we’re pretty sure you won’t be disappointed. NB
Fireworks Magazine is in the Rock Music category and is just one of over 3,000 magazines now available at Newsstand, to browse recent front covers of Fireworks Magazine, please click here.
