Roaring out from the mean streets of the USA, V Twin magazine is all about customising and modifying motorbikes, high powered, stunning looking Harleys and the motorbike culture and attitude.
Every issue of this small sized but feature-packed mag contains looks at some ridiculously tricked out bikes, beautifully customised by master craftsmen. It contains product reviews and guides, showing off upgrades such as mirrors and exhaust, as well as in-depth tech reviews, looking at motors, lifters, frames, wheels and more, with practical guides to installing them. V Twin also covers the Motorbike scene in America, taking a look at the shows and events across the USA.

Motorcycles such as the stunning steel beasts featured in V-Twin are pretty much the antithesis of most cars nowadays. Car design is getting a little better, but during the 80s and 90s it had lost all of the fantastic style and panache of the 50s and 60s, all those sweeping curves and elegant chromework were exchanged for box-like design that somehow seemed to be the future. The best motorcycles, such as the thrilling Harley-Davidsons that were ridden by every bike gang in every American TV show ever, never lost that style, and it is more in evidence than ever in the pages of V Twin.
In fact, if you think about it there is a very good reason why it is normally the bad guys who get to ride motorbikes. To be evil you have to be threatening, and to be threatening you have to have more than a little cool about you. The good guy drive a boring, boxy car – it may be fast but it ain’t that exciting – whilst the baddies get to roll into town and cause trouble on growling Harleys, wearing leather and drinking beer. We know which one sounds cooler, and we think you do too. NB
