Absolute Horse is not a national based magazine but instead covers a relatively small local area of East Anglia. The area it covers includes Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Cambridge and Hertfordshire. The magazine basically only focuses on providing information on local shows in the defined area of East Anglia. Absolute Horse has regular features which includes advice on how to treat your horse’s sport injuries as well as local show results. The content of the magazine is very varied and covers a large range of topics. We found some of the topics a bit hard to look at such as articles on vet treatments (which can show some pretty graphic pictures!) but they were very informative and straightforward. The magazine is very focussed on how to properly care for your horse.
There can be quite a large amount of adverts displayed in the magazine. (Which we found got in the way somewhat!) The adverts are not just confined to the rear few ages but seem to appear on every other page throughout the magazine. However all the adverts were relevant to the content of the magazine which we think many readers would find useful. The magazine also contains a great deal of local reports from the magazine’s local area. While readers from outside East Anglia may not find this so interesting, we are certain that readers from the local area would love to read about the results of shows with local horses.
Absolute Horse Magazine is in the Equestrian category and is just one of over 3,000 magazines now available at Newsstand, to browse recent front covers of Absolute Horse Magazine, please click here.
