What's on TV is britain's best-selling TV magazine and this year celebrates 10 years at the top. It's great value, and not just packed with the TV listings, but also lots of editorial on the UK's main soap operas as well as other popular dramas and the like. It weighs in at around 230 grams per issue. This is the London area edition and there are also Whats on TV magazines for other areas, available here at Newsstand.

50p for a magazine, it's ridiculous! Allow us to assume a grumpy old man stance for a second here. You won't find anything that cheap at Newsstand we can assure you. Television magazines need posting first class just like the rest of 'em, that's why this one may seem quite expensive compared to the magazine cover price in the shops, I am afraid.
However, if you are stuck at home or many miles from a newsagent, we'll send you Whats on TV or any other TV listings magazine in the post every week - so you have always got the television information you like at hand even if you can't or won't get out and about. Think of it as a service we are providing, as well as just the magazine..
What's on TV is quite a lightweight magazine, but it lists all the channels for the week (we post the magazine on a Tuesday by first class post and the Television listings begin that following Saturday).
We stock two area versions of Whats on TV magazine as well as all the other TV guides. This one covers the London, Central and Anglia areas and t'other does the South and South West of England. In reality this will only mean very small changes where there are regional programmes broadcast. We have customers all over Europe who generally recieve their TV listings magazines in time for the Saturday with no problem - although we can't promise this as it's ultimately down to the/el/le/die postie.
Many times we've been told that the internet (and it's related gadgetry), will finish off the printed magazine. We've noticed an increase in our customer base if anything, and all eyes are on TV listings magazines as being the most at risk of all. Anything based on reference is bound to suffer the most you'd surmise. However, so far so good as far as we cn tell - although a couple of TV mags have either gone by the wayside or lessened the number of regional variations - so a bit tense.....
