I only have the slightly outdated iPhone 3G, but I am still in complete awe at it’s capabilities. Not only can I call, text, email and Facebook people, I can track where I am and where I need to go if I get lost. I can take hundreds of photos and edit them, play games, get food recipes, exercise plans, shop on ebay, Gumtree, Asos and hundreds of my other favourite websites. It’s like having a little computer in your pocket, and it is enormously useful. Despite the fact that I think everything Apple is amazing, some would say they are not actually the best on the market. When going into a phone shop and asking for the best product, money no object, the salesman said he would personally go for an Android.
So what has made Apple so popular? I think it is perhaps because they were the first to come out with all this new kind of simple and easy to use technology, beginning with the original black and grey screened iPod. I had one of these and loved it to pieces; it was less complicated than any other portable music player I had come across. So it’s probably for that very reason that I stay faithful to Apple. Once you get used to a brand, it’s quite hard to sway isn’t it?
