Somewhere between a magazine and comic, featuring things to make, draw and cut-out. Based on the popular ITV programme, Art Attack magazine offers unique "make & do" content for boys and girls aged 6 to 12. A really good magazine that quite simply fills a void in the magazine market in the UK. Hours of activities from cut outs to colouring in to painting for children, if you've got the mess thresholds, Art Attack will provide the rest.

We don't know what else to say about Art Attack magazine. You might argue then that we shouldn't say anything at all, but at Newsstand we like to tell you about really good magazines that add real value to the UK magazine market. Art Attack is one of those. Not only that, but it does it quietly, without shouting from flash loaded websites with a cheap subscription rate strapped around it's stomach (waiting to blow itself up - you might add).
So many kid's magazines are based around a free gift and little else, this children's art magazine is more than that - although covermounted art tools are often with the magazine. It's not always in stock and reasonably hard to find.
Buy a copy of Art Attack, it's worth the price to keep the children busy alone. Add in the fact that they will enjoy all the vibrant colours and addictive art projects and you have yourself a nice cup of tea, which will enable you to get your strength up to steward the cleaning up process that will undoubtedly follow!
You know what they say about parenting, you get out what you put in - and if any magazine could have that as it's strapline, it's Art Attack for children. Excellent value too for a subscription.
What's also great about this childrens' art magazine, is that its all made with an almost hardback cover and bound like a folder. This way its easy to keep and delve back into whenever the young artists are in the mood to paint and fold and generally create stuff. It used to be published fortnightly, but these days due to the general advertising revenue fall, it's published four times per year by Panini magazines on behalf of ITV. It nearly went under in 2009 - but long may it continue.
