This magazine is a comic based publication with adult humour. Wasted magazine says itself that it is ‘earth’s comic for today’s youth gone wild’. This is a pretty male dominated publication, semi-naked women is the order of the day! Do you like the idea of comics with titles such as ‘Vampire vixens’ or maybe ‘Ants in the pants of the pirates of Penzance’? Or perhaps a comic called ‘Tales of the Buddha’ (Before he got enlightened of course) will tickle your funny bone? If any of these titles make you snigger then we can safely say that you will enjoy this publication.

It is for adults who have a bit of a daft sense of humour and who like we said, like the idea of barely clothed female comic figures. The magazine is fairly new on the scene and whether it is better than other comic based magazines is hard to say. It all depends on your comic tastes; it has a fairly similar vibe to Heavy Metal magazine, with similar adult humour and themes.

We were tickled by a disclaimer in Wasted magazine which stated that the ‘scenarios depicted are solely for the purposes of entertainment and are not intended to promote or condone any activity deemed illegal by law’. This made us chuckle, any reader not familiar with Wasted can get a pretty good idea of the content from this amusing disclaimer, there will be stories about drugs, crime and violence so readers looking for a light hearted read may be looking in slightly the wrong place!
